About Us

Patrick Meijer is the Founder and CEO of Caribbean Network and Security Solutions B.V., an Information Technology solutions provider to governments and organisations in the Caribbean with over 20 years of experience. A devout problem-solver and holder of Cisco CCNP Enterprise and Security Certifications, Patrick’s love for creating network solutions stems from his love for digging into problems, figuring them out for himself, and using that knowledge to create solutions that improve and impact lives

Some of His most important career achievements include

Designing, configuring and installing new network infrastructure for the Dutch central government in the Caribbean Netherlands (Rijksdienst Caribisch Nederland – RCN) on Bonaire for approximately 1000 users
Designing, configuring and installing a new network infrastructure for the local Government of Bonaire, which is a special municipality of the Netherlands consisting of 450 users.

More About Him

Currently, Patrick works as a seasoned Senior Network Engineer with experience in Cisco and HP products. A role where he spends his time setting up and configuring Nexus switches, Catalyst switches, Cisco Routers, Fortigate Firewall, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager, FortiWeb, Ubiquiti and HP ProCurve products.

Patrick graduated from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences in 1997 with a bachelor’s degree in Analytical Process Laboratory Instrumentation (APLI).

A life-long learner, Patrick is currently studying SDWAN, SDA, DNAC and also routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, EIGRP) and all topics that are part of the blueprint for CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure Lab exam.

Outside of work, he’s happiest when he’s playing his guitar to genres like bossa, samba and jazz. Patrick currently lives in Kralendijk, Bonaire, and is available for collaborations on Information Technology projects and speaking engagements.
